"Spirit of the King," the mini-Las Vegas revue headlining Steve Connolly as Elvis Presley in the pop icon's 77th birthday tribute concert, visits Back Bay Events Center on Saturday, January 7th.
Connolly, a Winchester, MA native, has performed as Presley some 4,000 times in Las Vegas and is the only entertainer depicting Elvis to be chosen by the Las Vegas Review Journal as "the Best Elvis in Vegas."
In "Spirit of the King," Connolly recreates the Presley mystique, belting out the King's signature classics like Are You Lonesome Tonight, Viva Las Vegas, Blue Suede Shoes, Jailhouse Rock, and more...spanning the early 50's through mid-70's. Backed by the Berkelee College of Music's DC Project Band. |
